Autogas is one of the fuels which are the least harmful to the environment. Since this fuel has an octane level of more than hundred, the combustion occurs more equable. Also, autogas reaches, other than with petrol, the engine in pure form. Because of that, it can blend better with the combustion air, which leads to a more complete and thus cleaner combustion result.

Since autogas does not contain smuts, this fuel is cleaner with regard to petrol and especially diesel. The emission of C02 is even 15% less with autogas than with petrol.

The systems keep developing and therefore also keep improving. At the moment, manufacturers are working steady on so called sequential injection systems, which achieve an even cleaner combustion and an engine which runs more economic and environmentally friendly.

Measured to the effects on human health, natural gas and autogas have the cleanest emissions. Still, autogas has got more advantages above other alternative and environmentally friendly fuels. Autogas is unlike natural gas and hydrogen available for many car types and obtainable everywhere in our country and many other countries.
